Meet Ms. Christy

Ms. Christy Chatman, MA., LSSGB

BIO

Ms. Christy, born Christy Chatman, is an Inspirational Writer, Life Transitions Coach and HR Professional. Her greatest passion has always been to help others realign with their purpose after major life changes. She is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Master’s degree in Management and Leadership and Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling.  She completed extensive Masters level coursework in Professional Counseling including Practicum hours counseling in a private practice. She also has several years of volunteer experience mentoring teens. Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring are the disciplines in which she excels as a result of her education and training.

Ms. Christy has spent several years in the ranks of Corporate America as a Human Resources and Employee Benefits Professional working in both the public and private sectors. The many years of working in Corporate has shown Ms. Christy the impact an individual’s mental health can have on one’s professional performance and productivity. A huge advocate of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), Ms. Christy believes that one’s mental health is just as important as one’s physical health and should be prioritized as such.

Ms. Christy combines her education, professional training and personal experiences to inspire, coach and mentor others.  Accountability coupled with acceptance is her mantra for positive change. In order to grow personally or professionally one has to accept responsibility for their role in what may be considered as failures or setbacks.  She is highly skilled at helping others realign their lives. Currently, Ms. Christy offers Private Virtual Coaching services.

In her spare time she enjoys writing and listening to music, spending quality time with loved ones and encouraging others to be their greatest self.

“Keep going. You can do it!” is her brand slogan and life motto that has proved instrumental in both her personal and professional life. The point is not to live a perfect life but to live a purpose filled life and never give up.
